Gordon M. Burke, MD, completed medical school at New York Medical College. Afterwards, he received his internal medicine residency training at Boston University Medical Center where he also served as chief medical resident. He then attended Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for his general cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging fellowships. He served on the faculty as a noninvasive cardiologist at the VA Boston Healthcare System for 7 years with dual academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine. His research interests include using advanced imaging in patients with structural heart disease. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his original scientific research at national and international conferences. Dr. Burke is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Cardiac MRI.
